Gentle Yoga for Nervous System Healing

This class blends slow, intentional movement, breathwork, and somatic practices to help release stored tension, activate the parasympathetic nervous system, and create a sense of safety and ease in your body. Through gentle yoga postures, mindful movement, and restorative holds, we will explore the three states of the nervous system—

  • Ventral Vagal (Safe & Connected): A state of ease, presence, and connection

  • Sympathetic (Fight or Flight): A mobilized state of stress, anxiety, or activation

  • Dorsal Vagal (Freeze & Shutdown): A state of withdrawal, exhaustion, or dissociation

By tuning into these states, you will learn to recognize where you are in the nervous system response and develop tools to shift between them with breathwork, movement, and grounding techniques. This awareness fosters greater emotional resilience, stress relief, and a deeper connection with your body. Benefits of this class:
