Psychological Associate
Fariba Touyeh is a Psychological Associate registered with the College of Psychologists of Ontario. Fariba views psychotherapy as a collaborative process. She believes the healing of emotional pain happens through self-discovery, understanding one’s strengths and weaknesses, encountering and finding ways to overcome obstacles, and embracing life change. With a client-oriented approach, she provides a non-judgmental setting to help individuals explore their authentic selves navigate their personal goals, and embrace their unique strengths.
Fariba’s approach to treatment is integrative, and she practices using modalities such as Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Mindfulness. Fariba has worked in different clinical settings, providing services to diverse cultural or racial groups. She recognizes and respects differences in opinions, values, and attitudes of various cultures and other types of people.
When she is not working, Fariba enjoys listening to music, dancing, and cooking.
